THE SWISS SPAGHETTI HARVEST FESTIVAL

Our inaugural film festival begins in April, we’re very excited about it. It’s a season of documentaries that meddle with the lines between fact and fiction and the name is a tribute to possibly the most famous example of such japes; Panorma’s 1957 Swiss Spaghetti April Fools. All these films play fast and loose with the ‘truth’, they are all are very clever and very funny. Particularly exciting is the news that Stephen Volk and Lesley Manning, writer and director of the legendary Ghostwatch show (which caused such a fuss it was banned for a decade and has never been shown again) will be joining us for the screening on May 11th.

PARTY, AT THE ARTS THEATRE LONDON

partyweb1We’re delighted to announce the London run of Tom Basden’s phenomenal debut play, Party.

After incredible reviews, a Fringe First Award, total sell out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and Sydney Festival this biting and hilarious satire comes to London.

“Injects new life into the hoary old genre of political satire and the excellent quintet deliver it with perfect timing”
- The Independent ✭✭✭✭

“This intimate comedy is hilarious and recommended particularly for those who like political humour but grow tired of the often attendant stuffiness.”
- Scotsman ✭✭✭✭

“One of the most enjoyable hours in town”
- Times ✭✭✭✭

Party is savvy, beautifully played comedy that manages to speak volumes about political rhetoric and uninformed advocacy without being high handed or mired in topical references.”
- Sydney Morning Herald
